When I had this photo on my myspace, many years ago, I had a lot of questions regarding how I made this photo. One comment said 'I would say this picture is cool, but it appears that you are near a source of fire' If I didnt answer those questions, a few days later I would notice 'home brew' versions of this photo. What I did to make this photo is really simple. I turned out all the lights in my apartment, and used to monitor light for the picture. I put the cheapo webcam on top of the laptop and after about 10 minutes of shooting, I decided that this was the best one. First I took some shots with my hoodie off, then with the hood on. Of course, in this photo, im wearing the hood. Theres no way you can tell, but the color of the hoodie isnt black, like my Spitfire hoodie. Instead its a Navy blue. If you want to recreate this photo using your monitor, I suggest you adjust the brightness up or down for the proper lighting and depending on whether or not you have a cheap camera. Also, if you are using a webcam... In the options, a Mirror image selection is very helpful for taking this shot. I have recently made a few new versions of this photos, except I am wearing my Spitfire hoodie and a beanie. Not quite as cool as the original, but I thought it was nice to try to recreate my favorite photo. And one last thing, if you decide to make a photo similar to mine, please let me know. I would really love to see the outcome. Unless, its part of some dude that only women should see. No matter what youve heard, thats not something im interested in... Just read my comments.
